Review: Jo Jingles Christmas CD

Lp has been learning to sing recently and has also been learning about Christmas. So far she thinks Santa is a Monkey in a Santa hat thanks to the Curious George Christmas Movie and the only songs she can sing are the Curious George Christmas Song and Twinkle Twinkle – Sometimes she does a collaboration of the two which is quite funny!

I wanted to try and get her to have a more varied song repertoire and also to have a better understanding of Christmas so when Jo Jingles asked us to review their Christmas CD I jumped at it – Children’s Christmas Songs are not something we have many of at home and it would be great to see how LP responded to the new music.

Review: Jo Jingles Christmas CD

The CD arrived and LP immediately grabbed it, she loved the colourful sleeve and the Jo Jingles logo was instantly recogniseable to me even though I’ve never been to any of their music classes – For those of you not aware, Jo Jingles have a whole host of music, singing and movement classes all across the country that are suitable from 3 months all the way up to 5 years. If you haven’t been then you should go and try them out and see what they’re like. Taking LP and LM to a session or two is on my list of things to do in the New Year. (Resolution 1: MUST take babies out more!)

The Christmas CD has 10 Songs – From Jingle Bells to We Wish You A Merry Christmas. We were familiar with all of them and LP loved watching us sing along even though she hasn’t started singing along herself just yet. All the songs on the CD are ones you will know, Christmas classics and sing alongs. The CD is only £2.50 which I think is an absolute bargain – if you order before 18th December it will arrive before Christmas too!

Our aim now is to listen to the Christmas songs until we are sick of them and LP recites them off by heart – next year she’ll be singing constantly and we will love it!

Disclosure: We were sent this CD for the purpose of the review however all opinions are my own

Thanks so much for this recommendation. I’ve been looking for a Christmas CD for my wee girl, but with so much to choose from, I didn’t know where to start.

This CD really is a bargain, if you get it I hope your Daughter enjoys it as much as LP does – Thanks for reading x
