Henry Hugglemonster Henry Roarback Review

LP loves to find new TV shows to watch and when we were offered a Henry Hugglemonster toy to review I knew that LP and Little Man could both play with it – It also introduced us to a Disney TV show that we haven’t watched before.

Review: Henry Hugglemonster - Henry Roarback

Henry Roarback is a spin off toy from the Henry Hugglemonster TV show. He’s an interactive soft toy that’s a great size and incredibly cuddly – I think LP has found a new best friend!

Review: Henry Hugglemonster - Henry Roarback

The great thing about the Henry Hugglemonster toy is that he says many phrases from the TV show when you press one of his hands but when you press his other hand he teaches you to roar! You literally press his hand, roar and then he roars straight back at you but instead of just roaring, Henry copies anything you say and continues to mimic you until you press his hand again to turn the ‘Roarback’ mode off. This is one slight draw back of the toy because if you forget to press his hand he will keep copying indefinitely and this will eventually run the batteries down. I was pleased though that Henry Roarback came complete with batteries – A huge thumbs up!

This would be a great toy for any fan of the show or for most children – LP loves that Henry Roarback’s mouth moves as he roars and tries to get him to eat her hand. She also loves to press his hand and make him speak one of his many phrases. Little Man on the other hand just loves to watch him as he’s talking and laughs as his mouth moves!

One other addition to Henry Roarback that we liked is that his nose lights up to let you know when he’s in ‘Roarback’ mode and his nose flashes when he’s listening, ready to repeat what you’ve said. This is great to show children when they can roar and to let them know when he will roar right back at them.

Henry Hugglemonster – Henry Roarback has an RRP of £39.99

We just reviewed this too and the girls LOVE it. We’ve had to limit their time with him and make it one of Georgie’s potty rewards as otherwise they were just playing with him constantly and actually starting to argue over who could play with him. Massive hit.

P.S. Lovely rendition of Row, Row!
