Any reader will know how much we love Frugi and so when they announced their new swimwear range we were more than a little excited. With our first family holiday abroad approaching so quickly LP couldn’t wait to choose a new swimming costume and we spent quite a while looking at the great designs – typical swimsuits and those all in one suits with arms and legs, great for keeping children protected from the sun.
LP chose the Little Sally Swimsuit and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. Luckily for us, as soon as it came through the door the weather was nicer than it had been all year and so she put it on to play with the sand and water table in the garden, making the most of the afternoon sun.
I often find with girl’s swimwear that it can be too skimpy, low cut at the top, high legs at the bottom and really just too revealing for a small child. I loved the Little Sally Swimsuit immediately. It covers LP up but lets her feel girly – it’s a swimsuit perfect for her age.
LP loves the daisy design and I love that she can wear something bold and beautiful that she loves and isn’t pink – her current obsession. The swimsuit is Oeko-Tex and UPF 50+ giving us peace of mind that she’ll be safe in the sun – we just need to keep her arms, legs and face topped up with cream.
LP is a very petite four and a half year old and so the Little Sally swimsuit in age 3-4 was a good fit for her with room to grow. Frugi sizes are generous and the material is such great quality that their products last for years. I love that now the children can wear Frugi for any time in the lives – even when they’re swimming.
