F&F School Uniform Review

LP has now been at school a whole year and in that time we have tried quite a few different uniform brands but until now we haven’t had any experience of what F&F from Tesco have to offer.

I love supermarket clothing as a general rule – it’s affordable, great quality and long lasting. Plus, with F&F you can pick it up with the weekly shop or buy it online – and collect it from store if you want to. To try out F&F for ourselves LP was sent a brand new uniform outfit to get her ready for next year and she couldn’t wait to try it on.

F&F sent LP everything she needs for the new school year – a pinafore dress, polo shirts, socks and even shoes. I love that you can buy everything from one place and save time hunting around different shops. They also had a great range of school colour products – socks with coloured bows on, coloured cardigans and everything else you could need.

LP loves the F&F Polo Shirts. All of the other ones she has had so far have been unisex ones but these have a beautiful scalloped edge to the collar and a slightly more tailored fit. She looks lovely in them and said how comfortable they were – she cannot wait to wear them in September!

The Pinafore Dress has lovely, really well made, easy to zip up and a really good fit. It looked lovely on her and can be layered up with a school cardigan on the colder days. It’s a good length and LP can easily put it on and off by herself.

The School Shoes from F&F are just beautiful. They fit really well, are easy for LP to put on and take off by herself and have velcro fastenings. They also have really comfy cushioned parts around the ankle making them really comfortable for her to wear as well as lots of grip underneath too. They’re the perfect all round school shoes.

For me, the best part of the whole uniform was the socks. LP has had lace edged socks all year but ones that we have had to fold down and that look lovely for two minutes before they end up one up, one down and a complete mess after PE lessons. These socks have lace edges that are fixed in place, making them super easy to put on and looking pretty forever more.

But LP’s uniform is only just a small part of the whole range that F&F at Tesco have to offer. You can see more of their great range – as well as what’s available for boys – in these official F&F photos. One thing is for sure, we’ll definitely be picking up more uniform next time we do our weekly shop!

Disclosure: We were sent the above products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.

We buy Tesco uniform for our two, it really does stand the test of time. Shape and colour all stay the same and we have even handed down pinafores to Little 2 from her sister as they still look fab. We haven’t tried shoes though!

I haven’t ordered any from Tesco yet but I suspect we’ll be making our way around all the supermarkets for uniform over the coming years, definitely the cheapest way to buy it.
