Oh we love this time of the month, when our Degustabox delivery arrives! It’s packed full of treats, ingredients and snacks that are perfect for the whole family and since we started getting the boxes each month we have been introduced to so many new products and brands that we wouldn’t have experienced without Degustabox.
This month’s Degustabox came in the statement Degustabox packaging – nicely padded to make sure everything arrived in perfect condition. Inside there was:
- Samsons Balsamic Vinegar – RRP £1.99
- Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles Infusions – RRP £1.29
- ALO Drink – RRP £2.45
- Jordans Swiss Style Muesli – RRP £2.79
- 2 x Itsu Crispy Seaweed Thins – RRP £1.00 each
- Felix Gherkins – RRP £2.15
- 4 x Bahlsen Choco Leibniz – RRP £0.40 each
- Seabrook Lattice Crisps – RRP £1.99
- Rejuvenation Water – RRP £1.99
- Cracker Pineapple, Coconut & Lime Drink – RRP £1.50
- Brookside Chocolates – RRP £3.40
We were also given a few extras this month which was a nice surprise:
- 2 x Berry White Drinks – RRP £1.59 each
- Cucumber Sparkling Drink
The box was quite heavy on drinks this month but they’re great for Hubby to take to work or as a treat at home. We really enjoyed the Berry White drinks – and we have tried them before back when they were in glass bottles. The cans make a great change and I love the new look of the brand.
The Rejuvenation Water was really nice and refreshing – with an added boost of vitamins and minerals that you can’t taste when drinking it. It had a nice flavour and was very much flavoured water rather than a juice based drink.
The Sparkling Cucumber drink would be really nice and refreshing but cucumber isn’t something I’ve ever associated with drinks and so this wasn’t really one for me.
We really enjoyed the Pineapple, Coconut and Lime drink – the perfect refresher for summer. It would also make a great mixer for homemade cocktails and it really does have all the flavours that you associate with holidays. A really lovely drink.
Our favourite thing in the box was the Seabrook lattice Crisps. These were so full of flavour and the lattice gave a really lovely texture. We haven’t had chorizo crisps before but even the children loved them – definitely ones we’ll be buying again.
The Brookside Chocolates Acai and Blueberry Flavour Dark Chocolates were lovely. They remind me of chocolate coated raisins and I loved them straight from the fridge. They had a really nice glossy coating to them and were really moreish – a great chocolate hit for any occasion.
One thing we really love is Bahlsen biscuits and so finding snack packs of two individually wrapped biscuits in our box was fantastic! These packs are the perfect size for a treat any time of the day and we’ve enjoyed them on picnics, in a packed lunch for work and just at home in front of the TV.
We also really enjoyed the Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles Infusions and grazed on them throughout a day out in London. These new Fruit Pastilles have three new flavours – orange and grapefruit, raspberry and pomegranate and apple and elderflower. The new flavours are fantastic but have the same classic Fruit Pastille texture and appeal. We really enjoyed them.
We really enjoyed this month’s Degustabox and already can’t wait for the next box to arrive! If you haven’t yet tried Degustabox you can use code BLDEG15 for a huge £7 off your first box!
Degustabox has a standard price of £12.99 per month.
