Redhead Roundup – Health & Beauty {March 2016}

Here are a few health and beauty products we’ve been enjoying over the last few weeks:

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisture Razor

I shave my legs regularly but trying to find a razor that does the job well and doesn’t leave my legs in a mess has proven to be quite difficult and over the years I have tried many razors. Wilkinson Sword sent me their new Intuition razor and I started using it straight away.

The Wilkinson Sword Intuition Moisture Razor has a blade surrounded by thick shea butter so that it lathers and moisturisers whilst you shave. It actually lathers really well and as it gives such a good finish and moisturises too it really does save so much time as I don’t need to moisturise my legs after I’ve shaved.

The great thing about this razor is that when you buy new blades they come with a new soap cartridge too – so you don’t have to buy a whole new razor when the shea butter has run down. It also comes with a suction cup to attach it somewhere convenient in the bathroom.

Balance Me Lip Quench Balm

I love the Balance Me brand and always get excited when they have a new product. The Balance Me Lip Quench Balm is Balance Me’s step into the lip care market and I am more than a little impressed with it.

The Lip Quench Balm hydrates and protects against your lips as well as soothing and repairing sore, dry skin. It leaves my lips with a subtle shine and smells Wonderfully of mint – but not in an overpowering way. This is my new handbag essential and something I take literally everywhere with me. It’s quick and easy to apply and perfect for daily wear – not just when you have sore lips.

Ginerva Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel

I love a good exfoliator. Exfoliating is part of my typical bath or shower routine and it just makes my skin feel so lovely and fresh afterwards but it isn’t something I’ve really done to my face before.  When I was sent the Ginerva Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel to try though I pretty much started using it straight away.

The Ginerva Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel easily removes the dead skin cells from your face as well as preventing spots and controlling your facial oils, leaving you a lot more shine free. The Exfoliating Marvel Gel is really easy to apply and use, massaging a little into your dry face and then rinsing off, followed by your typical cleansing routine.

The Ginerva Green Tea Exfoliating Marvel Gel has definitely made my face feel softer and look healthier. It’s so simple to use, fits nicely into my routine and works really well. The gel is gentle and smooth, going on easily and gradually small clumps start to form which gently lift away all the dead skin cells. It’s so nice to use and it’s definitely a part of my lifestyle now.

Childs Farm Sun Cream

We are always looking for new, good quality sun cream for the children and so when one of our favourite brands – Childs Farm – released their new sun cream range we couldn’t wait to try it. Obviously the weather hasn’t really been well suited to sun cream recently but the cream goes on really well – a little goes a long way – and there’s no greasiness left afterwards.

The Childs Farm Sun Cream has an SPF 50+ and should be reapplied every two hours – or after swimming. Like all Childs Farm products it’s packed full of natural ingredients and is perfect for sensitive and eczema prone skin.

Childs Farm After Sun Lotion

The Childs Farm After Sun Lotion compliments the sun cream perfectly – still being full of natural ingredients and also being great for sensitive skin types. It moisturises wonderfully as well as soothes and hydrates the skin and will be the perfect application after a day outdoors in the sun.

Disclosure: We were sent the above products to include in this post however all opinions are my own.

Some great product recommendations, thanks! I particularly like the sound of the razor and the lip balm, I suffer with dry skin and lips so they sound perfect.

Just the other day I thought about summer months and needing to shave more! Ugh! Hahaha
Will have to try the razor, I like the idea of not having to moisturise after.
