Disclosure: We were sent the featured products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.
LP loves Minnie Mouse and when we were sent the Fisher Price Rainbow Dazzle Minnie to review I thought she might explode with excitement. We had a busy few days and every day she asked if she could play with her and when we finally took the Minnie Mouse toy out of the box LP loved her as much as I had expected.
Rainbow Dazzle Minnie is made of rigid plastic but with a magical colour changing outfit. You press a button on her hand and then she tells you to press her skirt, top or bow and when you do they change colour and Minnie tells you what colour it is – a great way of reinforcing colour names to preschoolers.
Minnie also sings True Colours which is very cute and even more so as LP loves to sing along with her! Rainbow Dazzle Minnie comes with a camera magnifying glass accessory that when you look through it Minnie has a rainbow dazzle effect on her dress and bow.
I love that the only extra thing that comes with rainbow Dazzle Minnie is her camera which attaches easily to her wrist – there aren’t any small pieces that could get lost easily and so it’s easy to store and also the solid plastic makes it hard wearing too.
LP absolutely loves Rainbow Dazzle Minnie and I know that she’ll be happy changing the colours of her dress and bow indefinitely – especially as you can create 200 colour combinations! The True Colours song does get a bit repetitive but luckily Minnie only sings the song when you’ve finished choosing Minnie’s outfit colours.
As Rainbow Dazzle Minnie has a suggested age of two years and over, and most toys are age three and over, I can see this being a really popular toy with two year olds. It’s interactive and educational as well as being something children will automatically love.
Rainbow Dazzle Minnie has an RRP of £24.99
