Pouting in Heels {What the Redhead read}

I have been reading Pouting in Heels on and off for years. It’s the kind of blog that you’ll see pop up on Facebook or Twitter where people have shared the posts, often not even bloggers sharing posts but just normal people loving what Kate has written about.

What do I love about this blog?

Kate very much has her own voice and her own style and whatever she writes about she speaks such sense. In the pages of Pouting in Heels Kate writes a lot of opinion posts that always resonate with me – and so many other people but she gets her opinion across in a really level headed way, with no judgement and never condescending – just this is me and this is what I think about something. I love Pouting in Heels for it’s straight talking and honesty but I also love the family posts and following Kate’s pregnancy updates too.

If they don’t already, why should people read this blog?

Pouting in Heels has typical family stuff – pregnancy updates, days out, milestones. But, it also has so many posts that could easily be in a magazine, the sort of thing that most people – women especially – could relate to.

Kate writes really well and her posts are the kind of thing you can really get lost in – a post that you can enjoy whilst drinking a whole cup of tea. One that you can read on a whole train journey and ones that you’ll remember long after you read them.

Where can they find the blog?

You can find Pouting in Heels over on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

    I love Pouting in Heels! As you said she is unapologetically and authentically herself as she writes and shares – it makes me feel that I’m sat down with her having a cuppa whenever I read it.

    Ah Donna! Thank you so much, you’ve made my week!! What a wonderful surprise. I’m incredibly touched and blown away by your words and kindness. It’s funny but I often forget that people actually read what I write (I think we all do, don’t we?!) so something like this is the cherry on a very lovely cake. X

    P.S Apologies to all those visiting my site today, it’s undergoing a bit of a rebrand so is in a state of flux! 🙂 x

    Oh I love this blog, Kate makes so much sense! It’s great to read a down to earth perspective about things sometimes, she just doesn’t seem to get too worked up about things.
