Last Monday I didn’t have a weigh-in – our Weight Watchers meeting is closed on Bank Holidays and it was also LP’s Birthday party. Because of LP’s Birthday, and her best friend’s Birthday, we have been eating a lot of party food and ridiculous amounts of cake. We only ate a third of her ginormous cake at her party so we then had another 2 thirds to eat between the two of us… We somehow managed it! But not surprisingly, over those two weeks of eating and eating and eating I’ve put on 1.5lb!
I’m not disappointed by that – it could have been a lot worse! Plus, for a Birthday, anniversary, Christmas or any other special occasion I don’t think you should think about diets – you should always allow yourself a day or two (in this case a week) off for a special occasion and get back on it afterwards.
Hubby and I are now back on it. Next week will see a loss!
