What do you like to snack on? For me it depends on my mood, what we have in the house and whether I’m focusing on eating healthier at that specific time. I’ll often eat fruit, berries and yogurt or a cereal bar if I’m on the go. Crisps are a bit of a weakness of mine and I’ll no longer have biscuits in the house as they are far too easy to snack on!
Pink Lady have done some research recently into the most satisfying things to nibble on – the ones that give the most snackisfaction – and have created this great infographic that shows the best things to reach for when you are feeling most peckish.
The research shows that interestingly many of us feel guilty, bored and uninspired by our regular snack options. Almost half of the people who snacked on crisps and shortbread biscuits said they felt guilty about it, whilst more chocolate snackers said they felt guilty about it than those who were pleased and satisfied by their milk chocolate choice. Pink Lady apples were revealed to be the most snackisfying choice thanks to their unique combination of positive attributes including flavour appearance and healthiness.
