When we were in Rome over May half term we wanted to experience as much of the city as we could. With two small children in tow we were conscious that they might be overloaded with history and lose interest in it all. So we decided to visit one of the biggest green spaces in the city, the Villa Borghese Gardens.

In 2019, social media is one of the most valuable tools that you can use to market your business. It is not only free to use but it also comes with plenty of reasonably priced features that many business owners are using to spread the word of what they have to offer.

And just like that it’s the summer holidays! I have no idea where this year has gone but I feel like I have been waiting for this moment for months. School’s out for the summer and we have so many plans. The next six weeks are going to take us on holidays, on days out with friends and definitely to the beach.
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows – and thanks to everyone who linked up last week. I love this project and it’s so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows each week and I’m so pleased so many are continuing to link up through the year.
Welcome back to another week of the Ordinary Moments. If you haven’t joined in before this is a weekly linky that launches every Sunday morning and is open until midnight on the following Saturday. It’s a linky that celebrates any ordinary moments in your life – or the not so ordinary some weeks too. Basically – anything goes. I’ll be sharing and commenting on the posts that are linked up during the week and there’s a badge at the bottom of the post if you’d like to add it to yours too.

If being a mum isn’t difficult enough, trying to keep your home tidy as a busy mum is even harder, and if like many other mums out there you stress over keeping your home clean, this is the post for you.
I love pudding and I love ice cream although I have only ever eaten ice cream from the tub, a cone or a bowl – nothing adventurous! So I thought I would make an ice cream cake. This recipe I just threw together but I will be doing variations in the future – it’s pretty good!
Any self employed person will know how hard it is to work through the holidays, especially as a parent. Working from home in any form of self employment means working around the children over the summer, juggling family time with childcare and trying to find a balance that works for the whole family.
Disclosure: We were sent the featured products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.
Little Man absolutely loves toys that he can build with and he may well be the biggest fan of well known interlocking brick toys. But, I love finding new toys for him to play with, ones that he can build with and ones that really inspire his imagination and creativity.

Last year LP moved from the Infants to the Juniors at school and it was a much bigger change than we had expected. Little Man only has a year until he’ll be following in his sister’s footsteps so I thought it would be nice to write about what to expect when moving up to the Junior School and how to be as prepared as possible.
A year ago today I lost a good friend of mine. I was away for a week learning to swim and had a message from a friend to say Kate had passed away. I was at my laptop in the hotel restaurant and the news knocked me sideways. I was so shocked. Of all the people I expected to pass away in the near future Kate was not one of them.
