When Mummies Work…

After yesterday’s post, I started thinking about the reality of returning to work but also the reality of when my fellow Mummy friends start returning to work. I am incredibly lucky and by the time I return to work I will have been off for 15 months. I am 9 months into this and the time has flown by! I have a lot of Mummy friends who aren’t as lucky…

To work or not to work?

Every Mother, on maternity leave, at some point has to weigh up the pros and cons of going back to work. This is never an easy decision to make, and quite often you can feel completely different about the prospect of returning to work when you are faced with it – a year earlier when maternity leave is only just starting and you haven’t yet held your baby in your…

Has she had crisps yet?….

We saw a lot of family and a few friends over the Easter weekend and it amazes me how we still get such a wide range of comments and opinions regarding our Daughter’s weaning. Pregnancy is a great thing. Apart from the obvious, pregnancy gets you ready for your new life after the baby has arrived. Throughout the pregnancy, sleeping wasn’t a comfortable experience and the…

Weightwatchers meets BLW…

Well, Mondays are the day that Hubby and I have our Weight Watchers weigh in. We’ve both always liked our food, snacks and ‘treats’ and I ate exactly what I liked throughout my pregnancy – this, I guess, rubbed off on Hubby who also ate what he liked! The day after I had LP I weighed 14st 7lb. I started Weight Watchers on the 9th January and weighed 13st 8lb,…
