Cheese Scones Recipe | BLW Update!

We have now been Baby Led Weaning for 3 months. LP has still only fed herself, we have never spoon fed her. BLW is definitely a way of life for us now and I am so glad that we first started weaning this way. LP is putting on more than enough weight, has dropped milk feeds and is thriving. I’m going to talk about how baby led weaning is going…

Letter to my 16-Year-Old Self

The last couple of weeks, and my last couple of blog posts have cemented the fact that I am really proud of where I have got to in life. The last 9 months since LP arrived have been my happiest and I have been thinking often ‘If I knew then what I know now…’ So I have decided to write myself a letter, addressed to myself on my 16th Birthday.…

Why?

I’ve been tagged by Rachel @Rachey320 in a meme all about why. The meme was started by mummycentral ‘Why…?’ is something that I will hear frequently from LP as she gets older. LP has had a runny nose, cough, watery eyes, temperature and general ‘unwellness’ for a few days and I have spent my time giving her cuddles and dosing her up with Calpol! The sickness meant that LP went off her food so I have been breastfeeding every 3-4 hours throughout…

Sleeping through…

She would sleep on us but wouldn’t let us put her down. Gradually…

Parenthood and Shiftwork

As you may or may not know, Hubby works shifts. He works 6 days and then has 4 off. The 6 days he works are between 8 and 12 hours, and generally he leaves home an hour and a half before he starts work and gets home an hour and a half after he finishes work. He always starts with two days where he leaves before we wake in the…
