A New Type of Insurance for Families | AD

We all have insurance don’t we? I know, personally, I have had various insurance policies for the whole of my adult life. I’ve had car insurance since I passed my driving test and pet insurance since we got our cats. But then there’s life insurance, income protection, critical illness cover and all the other things that you take out as you get older, buy houses and have a family.

So if you die, have an accident or are unable to work – you’re covered. Phew. Insurance hopefully pays out and you and your family can have the peace of mind that they don’t have the added worry of money on the toughest of times.

But, what happens if it’s not you that gets sick, but your child? The thought of your child getting seriously ill is something not many parents want to think about – just like writing wills and thinking about dying – but it’s a reality for parents across the country.

What do you do when your child is seriously ill, at home or in hospital, and they need you there with them? When you want to be by their side and there’s nowhere else you can even think of being? What happens to work? How can you keep working, keep providing, when you have so much more important things to think about?

Well, Insure With Max have created a new type of insurance – ChildMax. It’s like critical illness cover but for families – to pay a year’s wages in the event of a child becoming seriously ill. It’s something that no parents want to think about but it’s something that can, and does, happen.

A New Type of Insurance for Families

ChildMax doesn’t just cover terminal illnesses but things like blindness, paralysis, deafness and comas. It gives twelve months take home salary so that you can be there whilst your child recovers, or if they sadly don’t recover you can carry on getting that take home salary for 12 months or until you are ready tor return to work.

We all have car insurance because, legally, we have to have it. But we have life insurance, income protection and critical illness cover because they give us added peace of mine and I think that ChildMax is another of these products, giving peace of mind when you really don’t want to have to think about anything else.

Oh my goodness, what a horrible thought. Insuring against this is such a good idea, I can’t imagine one of my children being ill and not being able to be with them all the time because of work.
