Mrs Bishop’s Bakes and Banter {What the Redhead read}

I remember exactly when I started reading Mrs Bishop’s Bakes and Banter. It was straight after Britmums Live 2014 where I’d met her for the first time. Up until that point I hadn’t even heard of her but from then on I read her blog every time she wrote something new and followed her across social media. Two years later and I am lucky enough to call Lucy one of my closest friends and I am so glad I met her at Britmums Live that year.

What do I love about this blog?

Lucy’s blog started off as pretty much a food blog. She bakes the most beautiful cakes – they taste great too, I can speak from experience! Although Lucy now has a family and blogs about parenting and family life she has always stayed true to her roots and the blog’s original theme, making sure she’s always posting foodie content amongst everything else.

Lucy has a beautiful family and has also inspired me to lose weight, make healthier food choices and walk more. Her blog started off about food but it has also documented her incredible weight loss journey.

If they don’t already, why should people read this blog?

Lucy’s blog is the perfect combination of food and family with a good dose of health and weight loss chucked in too. Add to that the fact that the Bishops have just had a gorgeous new baby Connie and there are so many reasons to go and read. Mrs Bishop’s Bakes and Banter would be a great addition to anyone’s reading list.

Where can they find the blog?

You can findMrs Bishop’s Bakes and Banter over on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

    I love Lucy! We met via when she was the President of the Scone Roses WI group here in Bedford and we’ve been friends since. We now work in the similar fields while being stay at home Mums. I saw her for a little while on the Wednesday evening before Miss Connie arrived which was really funny because we’d had this whole conversation about not wanting to give birth in the heat lol.
