YAY! Week three. I feel like I’m finally on a roll with this. This has been a bit of a meh week so I’m going to focus on these little loves so much!
Here are the things we’ve been loving this week:
I read this post from Steph over at Mental Parentals. I could really relate to what Steph was saying – and I don’t advertise formula for the same reasons. But, I shared it on my Facebook page and I think people misunderstood the post – thinking that advertising meant information/advice about formula feeding/breastfeeding and completely changed the emphasis of the post. If you take it for what it is, purely about formal advertising, then it’s a great post.
I finished watching Gilmore Girls this week – the last of Season 7 and then the new series. I loved the whole thing. I felt like I really knew the characters and then when they had that party for Rory at the end it was just so lovely! And the new series was just like having a catch up with familiar friends – who had suddenly aged ten years! They didn’t look much different.
LP loves to dance at the moment and literally cannot keep her feet still. She loves to boogie wherever we are. We went swimming yesterday and I started singing this song from Bryan Adams to her – she loved it!
I haven’t made much this week at all. I have been surrounded by dust at home and piles of stuff everywhere whilst the house is in chaos. The most I have made is a microwave meal dinner!
I bought some new clothes in the Next sale which I only remembered to pick up from store this week. In amongst them was a Justin Bieber t-shirt – that I had no idea was a JB tee! I just loved it, and bought it and only realised the Justin Bieber connection when I took the tag out! We should definitely all love ourselves a little bit more.
When are we going to get over this new term tiredness? We are all shattered and need a break – I am so glad for the weekend. On the plus side, the evenings seem to be staying light for a tiny bit longer at the moment – I cannot wait for the clocks to change in a couple of months.
Have a great weekend everyone!
