Love the Little Things – 50/52 – #LittleLoves

This week has been a blur of Christmas things – shopping, nativity, wrapping and Christmas movies. We are full steam ahead until Christmas and I am so excited by it all. Here are a few of the things we have been loving this week.

Morgana wrote a great post about how she’s feeling at the moment – wanting to just tip everything out of your head. It’s a post I could relate to a lot as it’s how my life, and head, are constantly. Full, busy and constant. The plates have to keep spinning!

Watched

Hubby and I have had a TV binge this week and managed to catch up on so much. First Dates, a couple of weeks of 24 Hours in A&E, The Apprentice and so much else that I can’t actually remember. Oh HOMELAND!! How could I forget that. What an ending to the latest episode! I actually had a Baileys the other night whilst video editing and watching TV, it was lush and so, so festive!

Heard

LP in her school nativity! I don’t have any photos I’m able to share as all her school chums are in them but she was one of five happy sheep and for the last month or so we have heard nothing but nativity songs. She got to perform for parents two days running and yesterday she came home from school sad because they didn’t get to perform. She sang for us instead!

Wore

This week I got to wear my new Tiger Prints running top. Sometimes running is the only answer when you have a full head and so I love the slogan. I’m hoping to get back into running regularly after Christmas.

Made

Yesterday I made what may be the best looking pie I have ever made. It’s for a blog project and actually has pasta and bolognese sauce in it – a Maltese dish that I have called Pasta Pie. It was lovely!

and lastly…

Next Wednesday is my last working day before Christmas – I cannot wait! I have a couple of days with no plans and then it’s pretty hectic until Christmas I am so excited! Seriously, I’m like a small child at this time of year.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

That pasta pie looks amazing, well done you. And we’ve been all about nativity songs too, it seems like a lot of people have; but it wouldn’t be christmas without kids singing the old classics if you ask me. x

That pie looks gorgeous, much better than the ones I’ve seen in bakeries here in Malta! Think someone told me it’s called timpana. I’ve not tried it yet as I just thought pasta and pastry sounded weird, but my daughter keeps telling me how nice it is. I loved Morgana’s post too, can completely relate to that one!

    Have a great week x
