Another week has flown by and once again I am joining in with Morgana over at But Why Mummy Why to share a few of my #littleloves from the last week. So here goes…
I read a hilarious post over on Cool Bananas about growing up. I like to think that I’ll never fully grow up, there’s definitely a little bit of Peter Pan in me! If you’re starting to take your camera off manual read this post about aperture by Snowing Indoors. I have always wanted to own a pinboard map and Space In Your Case have a great demo of how to make one – I may have to try that out! Lastly, Twinderelmo asks Which Superhero parent are you? in a great post that everyone should read.
Hubby and I have loved Undateables this week, a guilty pleasure of ours and one of our favourite TV shows – we love it when the Undateables get a date and end up finding someone to share life with – there is someone for everyone!
Other than that we have watched a lot of Disney movies with the kids and LP has a few clear favourites – Cinderella, Bolt and Alice in Wonderland have all been watched this week without even a twitch in LP’s concentration.
This week has been a comfy week of jeans and jumpers out of the house and joggers and vest tops in the house! Yep, I’m one of those people that gets my comfies on as soon as I walk through the door – there is a line though, I would never leave the house in joggers, PJs or my onesie!
I have also been ‘wearing’ my new hair cut! Oh I love having my hair cut, such a treat and so nice to feel all new again. I will never get bored of that ‘just cut’ feeling, especially now I feel so much happier with shorter hair – it’s so easy and so me!
This week I have mostly been listening to my running soundtrack when I’ve gone out for a run. I download a ‘Various Artists’ running album and listen to it on shuffle, random songs that I’ve never heard of before but with a great beat for running.
Other than that, Little Man has learnt some new words – he says a very clear thank you now, please, cheese and a few other words. Hearing his voice emerge is something I will never tire of.
LP and I made Peanut Butter Biscuits yesterday which I will be blogging the recipe for at some point – so easy but so yummy. LP asked for a spoon of peanut butter afterwards and I think she would have happily eaten the whole jar!
LP had her immunisations yesterday. She thought we were going to see Doc McStuffins and said ‘it might tickle a little’ but when she had the injections she got a sad face and said ‘ow that hurts Mummy’ and then had the other side done and just said ‘it hurts’. She then spent the evening holding both arms and feeling a bit sorry for herself but other than that she handled the whole thing a lot better than I thought she would – such a brave little thing!
What have you been up to this week?
