Living Arrows – 7/52 {2017}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here. It’s definitely one of my favourite parts of each week!
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Life at Cooks Cabin
Pondering Parenthood
This week’s photos sum up a week of illness – hence them being quick, grainy phone snaps and not taken with my proper camera. We’ve all had some kind of norovirus, although Dave has got away without catching it miraculously. We have been tag teaming the sickness this week, spending so much time sleeping and thankfully LP was well enough to go back to school for the last couple of days of the half term.
Little Man, on the other hand, has been exhausted and poorly for longer and although the children were well enough to go to their grandparents for a sleepover at the weekend Dave and I had to cancel our plans as I just wasn’t well enough to go. But, we’re off on a mini-break today and we’re all feeling much better – fingers crossed it’s our last bout of illness for a while!
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If I thought a lot of people joined in for the first week then I was amazed at the amount that joined last week! I’m going to keep commenting on all of the posts that link up and sharing my favourite photos each week. Thanks so much for taking part and for adding to this great little community we’re creating – make sure to go and comment on a few other posts at some point during the week too.

Oh no! We had a stomach bug a few weeks ago and it took so long to feel 100% back to normal. I’m glad you and your littles are on the mend.

I hope you’re all feeling better soon. I don’t know what it is but this seems to be the time of year when everyone is fighting some sort of bug or cold. As you know, Amy’s still not back to normal x
I feel your pain on the illness – lets hope it leaves you alone now lovely. On another note, we have the same star blanket – and the kids still love cuddling up with it xxx
Oh bless them! I hope you’re all feeling better now – there’s nothing worse than sickness bugs.
Ah Donna! I know so many people that have been struck down with the dreaded norovirus. My sympathy is all yours. I have heard it go on for days, and days and days. I hope you and your hubs get to go out together soon. It’s great that so many people are joining in – wahooooo!!!!! x
Oh no Donna, I hate when they are sick, I hope everyone is feeling a little bit better this week x
