Living Arrows – 7/53 {2018}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.

If you havenโ€™t joined in with Living Arrows before itโ€™s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took itโ€™s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, โ€œYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthโ€ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week โ€“ one of each of our children โ€“ but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iโ€™ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the ownerโ€™s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

The Ladybirds’ Adventures

Mudpie Fridays

Little Fish

This week’s photos were taken at a National Trust property at the weekend. LP and Little Man love a walk through the woods, a bit of history and some fresh air so NT places are always a winner. How grown up does Little Man look here?!

LP has her moments at the minute. She’ll be grumpy for no reason, she’ll moan about not liking or enjoying things that we know she loves and on any day out it takes her a while to warm up. It’s hard work but when she settles in she is her usual happy self – and normal service resumes.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

  1. It looks like you had a great weekend, I keep thinking about buying an NT family pass as we have a fair few places nearby that belong to them. Daisy is the same as LP at the moment, grumpy at the slightest thing it’s like having a teen some days. Hope you have a fantastic week ahead x

  2. Thanks so much for the feature! Much appreciated!
    Ah, they all have their ups and downs don’t they? Looks like they had fun! I love their hats! We really need to start exploring some National Trust properties, there’s so many lovely places to visit. x

  3. Weโ€™re just joining the National Trust so iโ€™m excited to explore. Is it true you have to have permission to post photos from NT places on your blog?x

  4. You just can’t beat a NT property!! We should organise something for the Easter holidays to go to one with the children ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, don’t tell me that with LP, I thought that was just a toddler thing! ๐Ÿ˜‰ xx

  5. We keep talking about getting NT membership but I don’t know if there are enough places local to us that it would make it worth our while. I think I’ve said it before but I love LP and LM’s hats ๐Ÿ™‚
