Living Arrows – 52/52 {2022}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows – and the last week of 2022! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky. Sadly though, this is now coming to an end.
From January, Living Arrows will no longer be a linky. Blogging has changed massively over the last few years and linkies aren’t as popular as they once were and so it feels like quite a big commitment to post and host the linky each week. I’ll still be sharing Living Arrows posts but they will be monthly, on the last Monday of each month and purely as something for me to document and look back on. It’s an opportunity to share photos of the children but not as regularly as the children are getting older.
A huge thank you to everyone who has joined in with Living Arrows over the years. We built quite a community and, through Living Arrows, I’ve seen so many children grow and it has been so lovely. Thank you so much for being a part of something really special.
This week’s photos were taken today, on Boxing Day, with the children playing with their gifts. Little Man, as always, surrounded by Lego. And LP getting to grips with inline skates.
Feel free to link up, for the last time, below. And thanks again for being a part of Living Arrows.
Firstly, thank you for the many years of #LivingArrows. I will be sad to see it change but I agree – blogging has changed over the years and you’re right to move it to a monthly linkup. I look forward to joining you in 2023.
Secondly, BEAUTIFUL pics as always, the Lego is IMPRESSIVE!
I’ve been here (almost) since the beginning so I had to have one last post for end of Living Arrows! Thank you so much for hosting for so long and all the memories we’ve shared. I’m going to try and carry on with monthly posts too and even without the linky I’ll be sure to pop over and catch up with yours too. Hope you had a lovely Christmas and wishing you and yours a very happy New Year x
