Living Arrows – 51/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Domesstique

The Mama Story

Little Fish

This week’s photos were taken yesterday when we went to Gulliver’s Land. LP is really interested in cameras now and will often ask to use mine, although I am quite protective of them. This photo I captured on a rare moment where I asked her to look after my compact – that I use for video. It was on and she was loving looking at the world through it’s lens.

Living Arrows - 51/52

Little Man is so brave and has literally no fear. He will go on every ride at a theme park – as long as he’s tall enough – but, his favourite thing is always a basic slide. He can go up and down them for hours and seeing the joy on his face in a playground is one of my favourite things.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

I’ll still be hosting Living Arrows next Monday – even though it’s on Boxing Day – but completely understand if you skip it! The brand new year of posts will then start from 2nd January. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

  2. Oh wow! Thanks so much for the feature! Love the photo of LP with the camera! Thanks for hosting this lovely. It’s been such a good incentive to improve my photography and looking forward to continuing to link up next year. (Will try to make it next week too!) Merry Christmas to you and your family. xx

  3. Love these shots. N loves my camera too – although my compact is lost so it’s either the gopro (he looks like a tour guidewith his ‘stick’ or likes using my mirrorless one (under a lot of supervision!) Thanks for hosting, have a great Christmas

  4. I love the photo of the angel from The Mama Story. It is beautiful! Little Man does sound fearless – mine are the total opposite, and I am not a helicopter parent at all. I try and persuade them to be daring and just go for it! I love that LP is taking an interest in photography…and totally understand why you would be protective!!!!!
