Living Arrows – 5/53 {2018}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

This week’s photos were taken over our lovely but busy weekend in London. LP had chicken pox last week but thankfully she was all crusted up in time for the weekend and so despite being spotty she was back to her usual self. She had such a nice weekend and enjoyed plenty of cuddles – and carries – whilst we were exploring London.

Living Arrows - 5/53 {2018}

During the weekend Little Man didn’t leave my side. He wanted me to look after him, walk with him and hold his hand as much as possible – despite spending the weekend not just with Daddy and I but also his grandparents and Auntie and Uncle! But, it was me he wanted, and so his hand I held. He won’t want me to hold it forever so I’ll hold it as long as I can.

  2. When Daisy is clingy, or being a little bit whiny, I too try and remember that she won’t want to cuddle me forever, or share her toys etc with me forever. Hope you had a great weekend x

  3. Glad to hear LP recovered quickly from chicken pox and you could all still enjoy London. I feel the same as you when my two are being clingy and only Mummy will do, they won’t be small forever so I cherish it while I can. Have a lovely week ahead x

  5. Chicken pox seems to be doing the rounds. My friends little girls both had it this month. J seems to have avoided it again. Part of me wishes he’d get it out the way! Glad you guys had fun x

  6. Thank goodness she felt better in time! Hope the little man doesn’t catch it. So gorgeous he wanted you all weekend, makes you feel like you’re doing something very right doesn’t it! Like the biggest mum approval rating ever!

  7. I’m so glad that LP was well enough for you to still go to London. That picture of her is gorgeous, I love her hand gripping her Daddy’s coat. And of course there is nothing better than your child wanting to hold your hand!

  8. Chicken Pox sounds awful. My nephew and mum had it and it went around my son’s nursery but he still hasn’t caught it. The anxiety/anticipation is ridiculous.

  9. Aww, I’m glad you managed to have a good weekend and LP was well enough to enjoy it too. And that is so sweet of LM – I’m definitely making the most of cuddles and hand holding from Toby too because I know it won’t last forever.
