Living Arrows – 5/52 {2019}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows – and thanks to everyone who linked up last week. I love this project and it’s so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows each week and this year it looks like a really lovely mix of old and new faces.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Pondering Parenthood

This week’s photos were taken in the snow at home over the last few days. The children had a snow day off school on Friday and couldn’t have been happier – what child doesn’t love a bonus day at home and their weekend starting early?!

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!

  1. Thank you for featuring my photo this week. Athena and Troy look like they enjoyed the snow! M is desperate for snow here; we’ve only had a tiny bit, which hasn’t settled. I’m less bothered as I’m not a big fan of snow! x

  2. You has so much snow ! it looks like LP and Little man made the most of their snow day and long weekend. We had just the tiniest amount of snow much to the kids disappointment. x

  3. Lucky you – a snow day! We sadly didn’t get a snow day although we did have a little dusting of snow which lasted for a few hours. Beautiful photos as always Donna, so lovely to see the children enjoying the weather.

  4. So jealous of the amount of snow you had, we had the tiniest flurry and it disappeared within minutes! x

  5. Oh they look like they’re having so much fun! We had hardly any snow here but then we never do – I think we need to go and visit my brother in Yorkshire to get our snow fix 🙂

  6. Wow – you’ve had so much snow over your way! We had a sprinkling but it was mostly melted by Friday morning! Thank you for featuring my photo x

  7. Lovely photos. It’s great that our little ones have seen snow in generations to come i wonder if this will be the case. It used to infuriate me that my school was always open when every other school in the area was closed. This looks to be the same here where we live too. My eldest had the day off anyway and I think youngest was adamant she wasn’t going to go anywhere near the snow.
