Living Arrows – 44/52 {2017}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I am loving how many people have decided to make Living Arrows a part of their blogging routine for 2017, it is so lovely to have you all here.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

Also – something new here, I will be trying to resurrect the Living Arrows Instagram account! So, use #LivingArrows on Instagram and follow @LivingArrows_ and then I will share my favourite images each week – I’ll probably try and do one a day but we’ll see how I go! I’ll probably feature the previous week’s images the following week. Anyway, follow and use the hashtag and we’ll see what happens!

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Hot Pink Wellingtons

White Camellias

Just Buttons

This week’s photos were taken yesterday, on our final outing of the half term holidays. We met up with Lauren and her gorgeous children and had the nicest, relaxed day out. LP loved getting her face painted. I’ve written before about how she didn’t want face paint as couldn’t deal with it getting wiped off at the end of the day but she was brave this time, had it done and then at bedtime asked us to take a photo before it was cleaned off. She’s definitely growing up.

Little Man also had his face painted – as a pumpkin. He absolutely loved it, especially his ‘stalk’ hiding under his hair at the front. He loved it even more as he was wearing a Thomas the Tank hoodie and said he was a ‘Thomas Pumpkin’. He really is a sweet, sweet boy.

  1. Gorgeous Halloween faces ! I’ve noticed with my two that they are slowly but surely growing out of the funny little things that they used to get upset over. I hope you all had a wonderful half-term break x

  2. Love the light and feel of the photos you’ve chosen this week.

    N won’t have his face painted full stop. He’s had me do a tiger once, and never again.

  3. They look adorable with their face paint! Ours would have her face painted every day and well done to LP for agreeing to have it off at the end x
