Living Arrows – 43/52 {2020}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year.
If you havenโt joined in with Living Arrows before itโs is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took itโs name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, โYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthโ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week โ one of each of our children โ but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week Iโll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the ownerโs blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos โ and very occasionally square photos and I’ll never feature the same blogger’s photos two weeks in a row.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Inside Laura’s Life
This week’s photos were taken at the weekend at home. We are still in full swing of the loft work and have spent this weekend trying to make a dent in emptying our storage unit and clearing out LP’s room ready for the decorators to come this week.
I took this photo of LP whilst I was moving boxes around and it pretty much sums up this time in our lives. Furniture and boxes everywhere and yet the children just get on with it. Sitting at the island, playing on her tablet whilst there’s complete chaos around her.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
Thank god for tech – what on earth did our parents do with us?! This week we’ve been ‘stuck inside’ thanks to symptoms (awaiting a result as I speak) and so it’s been tech-central with Among Us as the main focus (for us all!) Lovely pictures as always Donna x
Thank you for featuring Teddy this week. I bet you’re all looking forward to getting your home back now! Looking forward to seeing the end result #livingarrows
I think so long as kids have their few special things, food and family, they could live anywhere. I look so forward to seeing the end results of all your current home renos. So exciting!
Aww lovely chilled out photos. I think this half term we all need to just chill out and not do too much! Hope you’re having a good week xx
It’s wonderful how adaptable kids can be- i’m jealous I wish I could be so relaxed in utter chaos!

It’s amazing how robust little ones can be. This is us at the moment too -surrounded by boxes and stuff! #LivingArrows x
Thank you for selecting my photo. Children are so resilient. It amazes me! I wonder what age that all changes? x
It’s sounds like the children have coped so well with all the changes in your house. I bet you’ll all be glad to get it all back to normal soon though!
