Living Arrows – 41/52

Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

The Inspiration Edit

This week’s photos were a couple more taken at home. This one of LP isn’t perfect but I love it anyway. She has a pair of ‘proper’ glasses without lenses in that she loves to wear to play Mummy. This was during dinner one evening this week.

Last Tuesday was a bit of a traumatic day for Little Man. First, it was school photo day and so he got all dressed up. This photo was taken in the after nursery lull before the real trauma happened – he had to have his preschool booster injections. I don’t think I have ever heard him cry so hard but thankfully he was back to his usual self by bedtime.

  1. I love LP’s mummy glasses, they’re a bit like mine ha ha! Awww bless Little Man – but what a brave boy. I cry too sometimes when I have injections x x

  2. Lovely photos. Hope he recovered quickly from the jabs – it’s a traumatic time! The glasses really suit LP, I thought they were hers! Thank you for including my photo in your favourites!

  3. Thanks for featuring my picture this week lovely 🙂 I LOVE that LP plays mummy, that’s so cute! I’m really not looking forward to Toby getting his boosters either – we’ve got a few months to wait yet though I think. I’m glad LM didn’t take too long to get over them.

  4. I thought those were real glasses on LP for a moment, she really suits them! Aww, poor Little Man. My Athena has just finished getting all of her baby immunisations and that’s bad enough, I imagine it’s harder once they know what’s going on. x

  5. Poor, poor Little Man! When I took Win for his preschool boosters he hid under the doctors couch and was totally hysterically screaming at her. I had to stop myself from laughing (awful I know) because it was like a switch that he turned on! I hope they haven’t caused him any trouble xx
