Living Arrows – 41/52
Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
The Mama Story
The Inspiration Edit
This week’s photos were a couple more taken at home. This one of LP isn’t perfect but I love it anyway. She has a pair of ‘proper’ glasses without lenses in that she loves to wear to play Mummy. This was during dinner one evening this week.
Last Tuesday was a bit of a traumatic day for Little Man. First, it was school photo day and so he got all dressed up. This photo was taken in the after nursery lull before the real trauma happened – he had to have his preschool booster injections. I don’t think I have ever heard him cry so hard but thankfully he was back to his usual self by bedtime.
As always, I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

Ha Ha I love little LP she makes me laugh, great photo! Poor Little Man, its never easy to hear them cry like that. Thanks for hosting and Happy Birthday xx
I love LP’s mummy glasses, they’re a bit like mine ha ha! Awww bless Little Man – but what a brave boy. I cry too sometimes when I have injections x x
Lovely photos. Hope he recovered quickly from the jabs – it’s a traumatic time! The glasses really suit LP, I thought they were hers! Thank you for including my photo in your favourites!
oh wow my photo made it onto your blog! How awesome! I love the rainbow colours on toby goes bananas. So cool that your daughter wants to be like you- ie the glasses etc. 🙂 Angela
It’s so lovely when the kids want to be us! LP looks great in those glasses. Poor little man. I hate jabs. Its always very traumatic here too x
I love that pherhoto of LP. So sweet and those ‘glasses’ look really good on
Thanks for featuring my picture this week lovely 🙂 I LOVE that LP plays mummy, that’s so cute! I’m really not looking forward to Toby getting his boosters either – we’ve got a few months to wait yet though I think. I’m glad LM didn’t take too long to get over them.
I thought those were real glasses on LP for a moment, she really suits them! Aww, poor Little Man. My Athena has just finished getting all of her baby immunisations and that’s bad enough, I imagine it’s harder once they know what’s going on. x
Aw, hate when they have to go for injections! We had to go for flu shots the other day – not fun! Glad he made a quick recovery! Lovely pics. x
