Living Arrows – 40/53 {2018}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

This week’s photos were just taken at home yesterday. Dave and I had a weekend of decorating, gardening and all other stuff that we never get a chance to do and so the children had a lot of time play, relaxing and just enjoying being at home. Little Man’s photo was taken just after he’d finished a jigsaw. He loves jigsaws and can easily do 100 piece ones now – they’re one of his favourite things to do.
LP loves to read and is ploughing through her school books, reading to us most days. She loved reading to me about structures yesterday and really enjoys a mixture of fiction and non-fiction books.

We had a similar weekend to you, sorting out and relaxing at home. Well done to Little Man on completing jigsaws with 100 pieces that’s amazing, I love jigsaws but sadly Daisy and Jake are not big fans. It’s great that LP likes such a mix of books, the factual books can be so interesting. Have a lovely week x

I really like watching LP and Little Man growing up through the weeks. Every now and then they just seem to have grown a load! Must be all the fun they have!

Oh our little E loves a good jigsaw, she will happily sit and twiddle with the pieces until she’s completed her puzzle whereas J just gets frustrated with such things.

I love these! I really need to encourage Toby and Gabe to get back into jigsaws. They went through a phase of loving them, but they haven’t done any for ages.
I really love a day at home. Life is so hectic with children, it’s so nice to just be playing at home. I wish we got more chance to be at home but Iris is only 1 and gets bored after 5 minutes so we tend to be out and about a lot x
