Living Arrows – 36/52
Here we are again – another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took itโs name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, โYou are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forthโ and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Baking Betsy
Mum in a Nutshell
Inside Out and About
This week’s photos were taken at completely different times and in completely different places. Last Monday we went to Drayton Manor for LP’s fifth Birthday and I took this photo whilst we were waiting to go on a boat ride. She has finally grown properly into these shoes – that I wish went up big enough for me to have a pair too!
Little Man’s photo was taken in the garden when him and LP were running around saving the day or something. They both have swords and shields from Legoland and always store their swords down their tops at the back. I have no idea where they learnt this from but I love it. A thing of childhood I would like to save forever.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week – thanks for taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

They are the cutest shoes, love the colour! Their imaginations are brilliant aren’t they? Your right these are the moments that you want to remember forever. x
LP’s shoes are amazing – I want them too!! I never got to go to Drayton Manor while I was there but heard it’s awesome, hope you all had a wicked time ๐ x x #livingarrows
Oh I do like the photos by Mum in a nutshell and Esther- inside out and about. Also funny picture with a sword down the back..typical boy thing. ๐ Angela
I love kids shoe pictures. So sweet. The sword holder is an interesting one. I’ve never seen that before, although N used to put his down his trouser leg which was a bit rubbish for walking!
Brilliant! I love it they both run around with their swords saving the day. So cute! And really what a good place to keep it. Little man has the right idea ????
Those shoes are too cute and i love the sword down the tshirt – its where all fighters and superheros keep their swords!!
Lovely photos, I am very jealous of those shoes! I love how children come up with their own funny little things, I think keeping your sword down your top is sensible. You never know when you might need it. x
Loving LP’s school shoes too – I’m sure they didn’t have shoes as cool as that when I went to school! Also love the Mum in a Nutshell shoes pic! x
I want a pair of those shoes too, love how they are peeping out. The boys do this too with play swords, It’s a clever way of running hands free with the sword still available when needed ๐ x
I love those shoes, I can see why you want them. I also love what they do with their swards, it actually makes sense to me lol #livingarrows
LP’s shoes are awesome. I love red shoes ๐ The sword down the back is a new one on me – Toby has been using a pan lid as shield this week though!
