Living Arrows – 34/52

This week has been busy, busy, busy and for once it has come to a close with me feeling as though we have got the work/life balance completely right. This has been a pretty perfect week.

The week started off with Dave having the kids whilst I had a day at work, then we had a day long play date with LP’s best friend and her Mum before driving to the coast to visit the lovely Katie from Hurrah For Gin and her gorgeous boys on Wednesday.

We had a lovely time at Katie’s house and then went to the look at the sea, have a walk around, a play in the park and the kids first ever visit to a public paddling pool! Both LP and Little Man loved it even though it was freezing and started raining soon after! Little Man looked so grown up, so independent and so bloomin’ gorgeous in his swimming gear!

LP loved looking at the sea as it’s something we don’t get to see very often. The sea was moody and the weather was turning but LP loved it – not quite as much as the paddling pool but the seaside will always be a novelty for our Little Pickle.

The rest of the week was full of a blogging event at London Zoo, two more working days and squeezing in some family time over the weekend around both mine and Dave’s working hours. All in all a really lovely week!

  1. Such lovely pictures! That there Katie is amazing 🙂 we visited her on the Monday & had totally house envy! We managed to get to the park, but the weather didn’t hold up for the paddling pool (boo) …next year perhaps! 🙂 x
