Living Arrows – 34/52

Here’s another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

This week the photos were both taken on big days out this week. On Tuesday we drove to Birmingham to meet up with Colette and her family. Colette is someone I talk to every single day and have known since pretty much the start of my blogging journey but up until this point we hadn’t met each other’s children – which seemed crazy. It was so lovely to spend a day together.

Then the following day we had our very first UK Parent Bloggers picnic in Bedford. It was such a lovely day and we’re already organising more days out and meet ups. This photo pretty much sums up the day for me – and if you’re not a member of UK Parent Bloggers on Facebook request to join and I’ll approve asap! 🙂

I’m looking forward to reading all your posts – thanks for reading and taking the time to link up! This really is such a big part of my blogging week and I love that so many people stop by each week.

  1. Her smile. She does look so happy and that’s certainly what it’s all about. I’m glad you enjoyed the meet. I’ve just requested to join. I find it difficult to meet up on these events as they are in the week. x

  2. I am very envious of all your days out meeting other bloggers – taking both boys out for a day on my own is still such hard work…. I’m sure it won’t be too long before it gets easier though, and then we can find somewhere to meet in the middle!
