Living Arrows – 33/53 {2018}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
The Roskillys
This week’s photos were taken over the weekend in London. We’re always so busy but this weekend was something else. We spent two nights in London and crammed in so many tourist attractions, so much food and so many photographs! It was a great weekend and this photo of Little Man was taken after dinner, when we’d taken him back out of the hotel to walk ten minutes to The Shard to go and see the view from the top. His little legs just couldn’t do any more walking – so piggy backs saved the day.
LP has grown up so much recently, in her personality and character rather than her size and look. She is so happy to have the second turn at things, to let her brother pick first and to go along with the majority rather than wanting her way each time. She still gets her way so often but it’s nice that she’s open to changing plans and a bit of negotiation or compromise at times. She’s been pretty amazing this weekend.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

Oh bless Troy, did he enjoy the view? And what a mature attitude Athena has. She sounds like a real pleasure to be around x
It is so sweet to see they growing and changing. She looks so mature in this pic. And it sounds like you had a fab day in London! The shard is awesome! #livingarrows
Thank you for featuring my picture 🙂 It sounded like you had an action packed weekend in London – I don’t know how you managed to fit it all in!
It looks like you’ve had an amazing time in London, they both did so well packing so much in. I’m not surprised little man needed a piggy back after all that walking. It’s sounds like LP is really growing up, it must be lovely to watch x
Love the piggy back photo of LM. Beautiful portrait of your daughter too. London sounds fab.
LP is looking very grown up! Piggy Backs are always fun!
LP looks so much like you in that photo. I don’t blame LM for hitching a ride, London is hard work for fully grown feet!
Oh bless, E spent the majority of her time during an evening being piggy backed by her Daddy. Kids adore being carried, such a cute photo!
There’s nothing like a piggy back off your Daddy and the picture of A is just gorgeous. What a little beauty she is. Thanks for featuring us this week. xx
I’ve noticed this change in Alice recently and its definitely a sign they are growing up. Its lovely to see them say to their younger sibling, it’s ok you go first. x
Aww! It’s lovely to see LP blossoming into such a beautiful girl. Glad you had a good weekend even though it was very bus x $
