Living Arrows – 3/52 {2019}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows – and thanks to everyone who linked up last week. I love this project and it’s so nice getting to know the families that participate in Living Arrows each week and this year it looks like a really lovely mix of old and new faces.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Living Arrows

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Hiya Honey

Mudpie Fridays

The Roskillys

This week’s photos were taken by Dave as I forgot to take any during the week and have been in Manchester all weekend. They went to a How to Train Your Dragon event yesterday and LP and Little Man had a great time.

These two always love to go on the train, it’s a real adventure for them and makes a day out even more special – especially as trains are one of Little Man’s most favourite of things.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!

It sounds like you all had a fun weekend, I’ve not seen the first film but the new one looks fab in the trailers. We don’t go on the train often but when we do the kids absolutely love it.

I’ve only been driving for 3 years but before that we would use public transport all the time. Now we never use it – I think mine would love an adventure, we may have to do it!

Hope you had a good time up here in Manchester

A train journey always adds to the excitement in our house too – or the bus for that matter!!

LOVING the face paint! We’ve not braved a trip on the train yet which is silly because I know it’ll be a big hit! You’ve reminded me to give it a go!

Aww I’m pleased to hear that they enjoyed their experiences.

Love their hats! Our girls haven’t been on a train yet. I think we might do one of those Christmas train ride experiences, this year.

I already bought BB a Toothless plush from Build-a-Bear in hopes he might love those movies as much as I do! 😳. I kind of hope the same goes for Harry Potter / Fantastic Beasts too!

Thanks so much for choosing our photo this week. Hope you had a great weekend away. Both the boys love a ride on a train too although we need Kipper to be out of the buggy before we really start using the underground x

It looks like they had a fab time – I love LP’s face paint! We don’t go on trains very often but Toby and Gabe love it too.
