Living Arrows – 26/53 {2018}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Dear Bear and Beany

The Ladybirds’ Adventures

Me Becoming Mum

This week’s photos were taken yesterday when we went out for the day with Colette and her family. Little Man is looking so grown up and he’s now happy to have his photo taken. Plus, he’ll often ask to have photos taken too – something that was unheard of even a few weeks ago.

LP has to be in the right mood for photos, but catch her at the right moment and the results are beautiful. She had a great day yesterday with her friends and, when given the opportunity, she can be a lot bolder and braver than I give her credit for. Climbing is a new found love.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

  1. That’s great that you managed to meet up with Team Burgess! Especially as you live so far away from each other. LP sounds super adventurous with her climbing – Bet your heart is in your mouth though!

  2. Maybe one day my boy will ask me to take photos of him too. Right now it’s still a nightmare! They both look super grown up in this photos. Where is time going?
