Living Arrows – 22/52 {2020}
Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! I love this project, I’ve been doing it for so many years now and it’s always nice seeing who links up and watching children and families grow throughout the year.
If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.
Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs. As a little tip, I only really feature landscape photos – and very occasionally square photos and I’ll never feature the same blogger’s photos two weeks in a row.
So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:
Mudpie Fridays
This week’s photos were taken yesterday at home. Every week feels the same as the last at the moment but one thing that has been consistent throughout is these two.
They have both taken lockdown in their stride. They do the same things they have always done, they play, laugh and find the fun in everything. Without them I know lockdown would be a very different experience and I’m so glad I’m living it with them by my side.
I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week and seeing the photos you share. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part – see you again next week!
I’m really impressed with how calm and relaxed your home has been during lockdown! You’re rocking it x
I LOVE the shot of Troy and his missing two front teeth. Now, of course, I’m singing the song. Athena really seems to love reading as much as you do. I’m finding books a great escape during this time. Thanks for featuring my photo again. I appreciate you. xo Jen
The kids seem to be taking things in their stride here too – it’s so admirable! Such lovely photos Donna x
Thanks for including my picture this week 🙂 I saw you post somewhere that Troy’s teeth are finally coming in – I bet he’ll look so different! Toby lost his middle two and the two next to them last year – the middle ones grew in quickly but there’s still no sign of the other two ? They’ll come when they’re ready I guess!
Both my boys seem to be taking it all in their stride too. I think kids are way more resilient than we give them credit for. Yours have looked so relaxed and happy in your stories x #LivingArrows
I love the photo of Troy and his missing teeth! They always look so relaxed and happy?#livingarrows
We have been quite calm here too. I don’t know whether it’s the 11 year age gap between my two or whether they are just home birds like me but it’s actually been lovely.
