Living Arrows – 21/53 {2018}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

White Camellias

Mums Blind Love

Little Fish

This week’s photos were taken on Saturday when we were away for the weekend on the Hampshire coast. They both loved visiting the beach and Little Man didn’t let his broken arm stop him from doing as much as his sister – he built sandcastle after sandcastle without as much as a moan.

LP did what she does best on the beach – and collected stones, shells and anything else she could fit in her pocket. I think she was a magpie in a past life.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

  2. Thank you so much for featuring this photo. It is one that makes me really emotional. The beach looks stunning and so quiet. We love collecting shells and pebbles too. x

  3. You can’t beat a good trip to the beach. We went last week while in France, and built sandcastles too. I’ve got a lovely big bottle at home, where I put one shell from every beach trip Isla goes on. I’m hoping by the time she’s 18 it will be full, and a lovely present
