Living Arrows – 18/53 {2018}

Welcome back to another week of Living Arrows. I loved seeing everyone link up last week – and cannot wait to see the children grow through 2018.

If you haven’t joined in with Living Arrows before it’s is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Here are a few of my favourite photos from last week:

Pondering Parenthood

Little Fish

The Frenchie Mummy

This week’s photos were taken over the weekend at Alton Towers. I love Little Man’s reflection in this photo – he was looking at the ground below and doing a pouty face because he knew I was taking his picture and was trying to pretend he had no idea.

Both LP and Little Man love Splash Landings and although it’s not the cheapest day out (even with Merlin Passes) it’s one they absolutely love. You cannot beat water based fun as a child.

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts this week. If you link up make sure to go and read some of the other posts and I’ll be commenting and sharing them through the course of the week. Thanks so much for taking part!

  1. Sounds like you had a great weekend – Splash Landings looks like so much fun. We’ve got the Sandcastle in Blackpool that’s similar but I’ve not been there since I was a kid!

  2. We’ve not been to Alton Towers/Splash Landings for a few years now but we loved it. Finally bought Merlin passes this year so expect we’ll be taking a trip up there soon!
