Living Arrows – 13/52

Happy Easter and welcome back to another week of Living Arrows! If you haven’t joined in before, Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky.

Each week I share two pictures from our week – one of each of our children – but you can share one or more pictures that capture a moment of childhood. The following week I’ll share my three favourite photos from the week before, linking back to the owner’s blogs.

So if you would like to link up, grab a badge and post around a photo of childhood from the previous week. I look forward to reading your posts and make sure you visit a few of the other posts that have linked up and leave a comment too!

Our photos this week were taken on Good Friday when we went to a local National Trust property for their Easter Egg Hunt. LP absolutely loves a map and if we visit anywhere new she always asks for the map and loves to lead the way. This photo of her just shows her concentration and her love of planning adventures. She was working out where to go after lunch.

Little Man’s photo was taken at the same time as LP’s, during lunch. He focuses on things so hard that he’ll often go cross eyed – when he’s drinking a drink, blowing into a whistle or licking an ice cream.

I look forward to reading all your posts and seeing all your photos of childhood. Thanks for reading – and linking up! Have a great week – and Happy Easter again!

  1. Oh those photos are adorable! I love that your little girl is an avid map reader, it’s such an important skill that many people don’t learn even as adults.
