As regular readers will know, we have two cats who we protect as best we can throughout the year – we don’t let them out at night – or even in the dark, they always sleep inside and if we haven’t seen them in a few hours we start to worry. We are especially cautious around bonfire night as there are so many hazards around – nice warm piles of wood, ready for bonfires, for them to crawl into and sleep, fireworks going off everywhere and generally this time of year is just not safe for animals at all.

Pets at Home have put together this infographic with some advice on how to keep your pets safe as well as helping wildlife around bonfire night.
