As a family we love having a couple of snacks a day between meals both when we’re at home and when we’re out and about. We find that snacks give us a bit more energy and help the children keep going until dinner. These snacks are usually fruit or raisins or a packaged, shop bought snack to give the children variety and we are always looking for new, healthy options for the whole family to enjoy.
Recently, Oaty Bites have been launched from the makers of Jammie Dodgers and the children have loved having them as an after school treat. We have all loved Jammie Dodgers for years so it’s great to have a new, exciting snack from such a familiar, much loved, brand.
Oaty Bites are made with wholegrain oats and raspberry fruit pieces. It’s a classic flavour and one the children really enjoy. Plus, they contain no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sweeteners and they’re also lower in sugar than most of the other children’s biscuits we buy. As a parent it’s great to buy a snack that we know is a healthier choice and yet the children enjoy it just as much as the alternatives they’ve had in the past.
LP and Little Man love Oaty Bites. They come in individual bags – with five bags in each pack – making them the perfect snack for out and about. They love having them at home, in the car on the way home from school or off on an adventure.
Oaty Bites would be great in a lunch box, especially as they are a healthier biscuit choice, and we can’t wait for the summer when they’ll be a great addition to our picnics every time we leave the house.
Oaty Bites are now a firm favourite and a go-to choice for the children when they’re looking for a snack. They’re just £1.69 for 5 mini packs and are available now in Tesco.
I have teamed up with Jammie Dodgers to give away a case of their Oaty Bites to one lucky reader. To be in with a chance of winning just complete one or more entries on the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!
