Over the last few years we have tried so many Higgidy pies. They have such a lovely crust, a great combination of fillings and often a quirky topping of mash or similar. They are the pies that hearty, warming meals are made from.
Between Christmas and New Year we love to relax and when the leftovers have run out we love nothing better than easy but great tasting meals – and Higgidy are perfect for that. We’ve enjoyed Higgidy pies a couple of times over the last week or so and they have always been the perfect meal – for Hubby and I or even the kids too.
Our favourite Higgidy flavours at the moment are the Slow Cooked Steak and Red Wine and Chicken, Ham and Leek varieties. The ingredients work really well together and they are really filling, wholesome and perfect served with just vegetables or potatoes too – and don’t forget the gravy!
