The Google, Macaroni Cheese and Holidays #LittleLoves

Ah I did it again, missed a week – or two. It hasn’t been the best of times around here lately – and I wrote this post to try and get things out of my head a bit, but on the whole things are improving – YAY! So I’m back with a few things I’m loving this week:

The only things I’ve read recently is correspondence from Thomas Cook. You might have read our first post about it and then the update on the situation. To say we have had a crappy time with holidays over the last couple of weeks would be an understatement.

I’ve been watching Chloe’s video from her Mark Warner holiday in Greece last summer. The children look so young and I got quite emotional watching it – she has just the cutest kids – and another one since then too!

LP comes out with the funniest things – and knows a lot more than we give her credit for. Yesterday she told us all about the internet, that it’s how she can play games on her tablet and that at school they use ‘The Google’ to find things. I love having these sorts of conversations with her. She cracks me up and impresses me in equal measure!

This week I have been living in my gym kit. I am trying to go three times a week and succeeding so far. I never thought I would be happy going to a gym – intimated, yeah, self conscious, yeah but not comfortable, But I am. I enjoy it and feel so much better for it.

Last night I made one of our favourite family meals – Smoked Haddock Macaroni Cheese. You cannot beat cheesey pasta – and it’s one meal where everyone is happy to have fish on the menu!

and Lastly

We have some good news – after watching Chloe’s video we have booked a week at Mark Warner’s Lemnos resort. It’s only a week, and full board instead of all inclusive but having heard so many amazing things about Mark Warner we know that, as a family, we’ll have a great time. I can’t wait to take the children on their first plane journey!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
