Getting Ready for Christmas with Morrisons

Disclosure: We were sent the featured products for the purpose of this post however all opinions are my own.

Christmas is pretty much the day of the year for us as a family and we love the lead up to it, all the preparations, decorations and festive cheer. And one of our favourite things about Christmas is Christmas Eve, a day we look forward to almost as much as Christmas itself.

But this year the lovely people at Morrisons sent us all we need to celebrate Christmas Eve in style – with Nutmeg christmas jumpers for the whole family.

We love Nutmeg clothing – it’s great quality, affordable and made to last so it’s only right that they have a Christmas jumper range too. Now, LP and I have matching Ho Ho Ho jumpers and Little Man and Daddy have matching snow scene jumpers too. They are the perfect addition to our festive season – and I know Dave will love wearing his for Christmas jumper day in the office too!

But, as well as the jumpers, Morrisons sent us a beautiful gingerbread house kit to make which I know the children will love. This is the perfect Christmas Eve activity especially as it includes everything you need to make the house – even ready made gingerbread panels. I know that this will be a highlight of Christmas Eve this year.

We usually spend Christmas Eve snuggled up, watching movies and drinking hot chocolate and it’s as if Morrisons could read our mind. They sent us beautiful mugs and everything we need to make the best hot chocolate – as well as chocolate bars and a new Disney movie to enjoy with it too.

So this year we are all set. We can wear our Christmas jumpers, put together the gingerbread house which will be a centrepiece on Christmas day and then relax together, enjoying a movie and drinking hot chocolate until it’s time to leave supplies out for Father Christmas, sprinkle reindeer food outside and go to bed, ready for everything the morning will bring.
