Geomag NASA Rocket and Rover Review

Little Man absolutely loves space and he loves construction toys. He’s forever building something so when Geomag sent us toys from their new Geomag Special Edition NASA range to review Little Man was so excited – they are the sort of things I would have put straight on the Christmas list!
The Geomag NASA Rocket and Rover are aimed at children over five and Little Man pretty much got stuck straight in with building them. Geomag products feature magnetic bars and sphere magnets which easily connect together. The Rocket and Rover both included plastic panels and card pieces to slide inside them to make them both look as authentic as possible.
The special edition NASA Rover also had wheels to put together which Little Man mastered in no time and he loved that each box had the instructions on the reverse with clear diagrams for him to follow.
All of the Geomag pieces are really well made and built to last but once constructed the special edition NASA Rocket wasn’t very stable and doesn’t stand up easily by itself unless balanced perfectly. Little Man doesn’t seem to mind though – he’s happy to rebuild it as often as he can!
The special edition Geomag Rover was much more stable and the finished vehicle can be wheeled around and played with – and Little Man has proudly displayed the model in his bedroom too!
These special edition NASA Geomag sets have been fully endorsed by NASA and have been specially designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first manned lunar landing – one of the greatest scientific construction projects ever!
All Geomag magnetic construction toys work well together, letting you combine the pieces and make things from your imagination and not just the product on the box. Little Man loved that both sets had some spare pieces in each box and I’m sure before long we’ll have a whole Geomag collection for him to combine and make his own creations with.
The Geomag NASA sets are a fantastic addition to the Geomag range and the sort of toy any child will enjoy – especially if they are already fans of building and making. I know these sets will be popular this Christmas and I love how educational they are as well as being fun. I love it when the children are learning through play.
The magnetic pieces and shapes you can create teach children quite a lot about science and maths without them even realising. Plus, the NASA sets will inspire any child to learn more about the moon and space travel too!
