Footloose, Coffee and Festive Dresses #LittleLoves

Woah where has this week gone?! One minute we were celebrating Hubby’s birthday last weekend and the next minute it’s Friday again. Time really does go quicker as you get older – especially once you have children.

Here are a few things I’ve been loving this week…

I haven’t read anything. Major fail.

Hubby and I have been catching up with all the TV. The Apprentice, First Dates…. We have shows that we always watch together and so we save them for when we’re both home – which is a lot more often now that he’s changed jobs.

I’ve been ploughing on with Grey’s Anatomy and am now at the start of Season 7. Without any spoilers, something massive happened at the end of Season 6 and it’s made Season 7 a little… off for me. The characters aren’t quite the same, the storyline is a bit… odd and I’m hoping it gets back on track quite quickly.

I went to see Footloose at the theatre on Wednesday night and the soundtrack was amazing. So many of the songs are favourites of mine and I had no idea that they were in the Footloose soundtrack – I have now added the CD to my Amazon wish list. Yes, I still buy CDs even though the only CD player I have is in the car! I’ll leave you with this one:

We’ve made the decision to have two Christmas trees this year – one in the lounge where we usually have it and a second one in our extension. Hayes Garden World have sent us a beautiful pre-lit tree which is also a ‘slim’ design so it shouldn’t take up too much room and I can’t wait to share photos of you when it’s up and fully dressed!

I technically haven’t worn it yet BUT I have bought LP and I matching Christmas dresses. I am so excited! After our Halloween matching dresses I thought really we needed to have a Christmas version in our life.

and lastly…

Hubby was sent a Blue Coffee Box full of freshly roasted coffee beans. It’s a subscription box where you get three different sorts of coffee each month – or even twice a month if you like. Hubby always has coffee beans but they do all different types of coffee and all different roasts too. I’m sure we’ll be investing in more in the future – and it would be a great gift for any coffee lover! I’ve also been given a discount code to share – use code WT518 for £5 off your first order!

This weekend we are off on a couple of jollys – staying at a hotel tonight ready for the first day of Drayton Manor’s Christmas season tomorrow and then a trip to the zoo on Sunday. I am loving having Dave at home at the weekends and the children are really enjoying it too.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Sounds like a fun weekend planned Donna. I love watching The Apprentice too, as it’s one of the very few shows we actually sit down with the kids and watch. Though I tell them it’s like a lesson in how NOT to do business sometimes lol #littleloves x

Sounds like a busy week- I think Footloose is here next year, it is such a great soundtrack. O think we’re heading towards two Christmas trees too- just to keep me and the children happy. I hope you enjoy Drayton Manor.

Sounds like a lovely weekend you have planned. My husband would love the coffee subscription box. Hang in there with Grey’s Anatomy, I can’t remember exactly which of the big changes you are talking about but I have watched every episode and despite losing a few characters I loved, I’m still loving it now.

Hope you’re having a great time this weekend, sounds like it’s going to be tons of fun. Loving those dresses. You’ve just made me want to put Footloose on the tv now – love that film! Have a good week x

I love that you have matching Christmas dresses too, how sweet! Me and the other half are also huge fans of ‘First Dates’, but I’ve yet to get into Gray’s Anatomy. Maybe we’ll give it a whirl! Have a great week! #LittleLoves

I know just what you mean about Greys. As much as I still enjoyed the later seasons personally for me the magic is in the early seasons and set of characters.
Hope you had a wonderful family weekend away xx
