The children have always loved wooden toys and as a family we really like to find toys that are long lasting, well made as well as being sustainable and where possible, fair trade too. Eighteen Rabbit sent the children their Wooden Alphabet Jigsaw from Lanka Kade to review and I loved it immediately.
The Wooden Alphabet Jigsaw is in the shape of a dragon with each piece beautifully painted with a glossy finish that makes it hard wearing and lovely for little hands to hold. Each jigsaw piece has a letter on it from the alphabet and a Welsh version is also available – as well as a dinosaur option too!
The jigsaw slots together really nicely and LP has loved not just putting the pieces together but practicing her alphabet too. The letters are all in lowercase which is something she is just starting to learn and so from an educational perspective this jigsaw has been fantastic.
I love how the jigsaw can be freestanding and looks great sitting on the side when it’s not being played with. It would be the perfect addition to a playroom or children’s bedroom and it’s has such a timeless appeal that it would be perfect for any age child from toddler upwards.
