Easter at Homesense

Easter is one occasion of the year that we celebrate. Often we spend it with family, having a Sunday lunch but more often we are having Easter Egg hunts in the garden and buying gifts for the children. This year I’ve stocked up on gifts from Homesense and cannot wait to dish them out at Easter.

It’s easy to buy chocolate eggs in the supermarket but we like to try and think outside the box where Easter gifts are concerned as the children tend to get so much chocolate from so many people that it’s nice sometimes to get something a little bit more long lasting.

Our ideal Easter gifts are craft sets – like the paint your own egg cup set, books, jigsaws and other toys. Cuddly toys are always appreciated – and you can never have too many fluffy bunnies and chicks!

Nice tins of biscuits or chocolates go down really well with grown ups and baking kits are something the whole family can enjoy – especially once the baking is complete!

As well as gifts, Homesense has a great range of Easter decorations – garlands, Easter egg hunt goodies and signs. I had to get our Happy Easter sign – isn’t it cute?! I now can’t wait for Easter, to spend time with friends and family to watch the children hunt for eggs with their friends.

The children love to get a big chocolate egg at Easter, and they love getting other gifts too but for us, Easter is more about time off work, time together as a family and time to spend with the people that mean most to us. When it comes to it, whatever you get up to and whoever you share it with – have a lovely Easter!

I’ve decided to do an easter egg hunt with Little London this year. I’m not sure how successful it’ll be!

Great ideas here for something other than chocolate though! x

I love Homesense for picking up quirky products. I love the Easter sign Donna, and the bake tin. Perfect for a slice of cake. We have no plans yet for Easter, but I am sure the weekend will involve chocolate and spending time with the family x

I love the Guess how much I love you set, like most parents I adore that book. I really need to get started on Easter shopping as we normally get the children an outfit and something nice as they too get far to many chocolate eggs of other people xx

Oh, I love the look of those mini eggs and the paint your own egg cup set. Libby painted an egg cup once and it is still her most prized possession.x

Please can you tell me who makes the teddy, my little girl had misplaced hers which is her comforter, a very sad 2 year old.

    Thank you so much
