The Dadventurer {What the Redhead read}

I can’t remember when I started reading The DADventurer but I know that Dave’s blog was one of the first ‘Dad Blogs’ I started reading. Up until then, everything I had read had been from the same perspective as mine – ‘a Mummy view’ – and so it was great to start reading something from a Dad perspective too.

What do I love about this blog?

Dave is really funny. But he isn’t trying to be funny – The DADventurer isn’t smashing you round the head with comedy. It’s purely Dave’s personality on paper and it makes me laugh nearly every time I read it.

Plus, he has a lovely wife, even lovelier daughter and has the unconventional role of being a stay at home Dad that is always great to read about. Although, having said that, it’s pretty much the same as being a stay at home Mum…

What are my favourite posts?

If they don’t already, why should people read this blog?

The DADventurer has a really great mix of content – with reviews mixed in amongst posts about family life, what it’s like being a stay at home Dad and other relevant and topical posts about pretty much anything Dave thinks of at the time.

I think Dave’s blog would appeal to pretty much anyone looking to add to their reading list especially if you like honest, warts and all posts with an added side of humour thrown in.

Where can they find the blog?

You can find The DADventurer over on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

    Ah, bless ya, thanks for featuring me Donna. I agree, The DADventurer is definitely up there as one of my favourite blogs – funny, entertaining, handsome, a liar. Dave has it all 🙂 I jest – I appreciate the mention.

    Thanks for the recommendation Donna, this is a blog I’ve always meant to check out but I’ve never got around to it, so I’m going to do it now 🙂
