The children are at the age now where they love to learn. They love finding out about the world, about space and about everything else in between. But, their favourite way to learn is to ask the most random questions or to just be given facts about things – the stranger the better!

The children love magazines and it’s always nice to have something new to read so when the first edition of the new Blaze and the Monster Machines magazine arrived for us to review Little Man couldn’t be more excited. The show is one of his TV favourites so to have a magazine version that he can read wherever he is was like a dream come true.

I have been pretty obsessed with super foods since discovering the Super Food Salad at Pizza Express. It may be one of the most filling things I have ever eaten without ending up with that over-full bloated feeling. So when I was sent the new Super Food for Superchildren recipe book to review I couldn’t wait to see how it would fit into our lifestyle. And whether it could help the whole family increase the superfoods in our diet.

Little Man is a huge Thomas the Tank Engine fan. Thomas is the first thing he thinks of when he wakes up and the last thing he thinks of before he goes to bed – and most of the time in between too. He knows the characters inside out and loves anything to do with his favourite train so when Egmont asked if we’d like to review their personalised Thomas the Tank Engine – You and the Christmas Rescue book I knew Little Man would love it.

It’s a book completely different to any other picture books that we’ve read with LP. I was looking forward to seeing what she’d think of it.
